I am registered!!! So the count down has begun to June 2015!
My current stats ...
1.5km time as of yesterday - 32.46 Goal to drop this down to 30 min
Average stroke per 25m length 19. Goal is to drop this to 16.
Average 100m time 2:10 goal is to get this to 2min.
Today's session is another 1.5km with focus on rhythm and stroke length. I can get some 100m splits to sit on 2min however this needs to be a bit more repeatable across the whole session.
Last week I looked at some kick work so this week is back to the length of stroke and strength of pull. Some land strength work is definitely called for. My preferred option is body weight, is it looks like it is going to be press ups and lets see if I can convince my body to perform a chin up or two!!!
Also looking forward to the next open water swim at Lake Each found this one a little tough than lake Barrine so hopefuly with a stronger pull through the water I can hold the course and keep my time.
