A key goal and an important element to my training has got to be swimming faster. So this week I am looking at shorter distances and really looking at picking up the pace and swimming harder.
Tonight I looked at a couple of 100m times - first in fins a delightful 1 min 38 then without : 2 min 05.
I will be looking at tomorrows session to push this a bit further, so I am trialling increasing the stroke number between breathing. This is to really get my head down and swim hard. Picking up my kick, which means no pauses, constant and consistent kicking and also getting back into tumbling, thsto make sure that I am not loosing too much on the turn ( oh the curse of a 25m).
Aim to get under 2 mins for 100m - Game On!
